Athens,
the capital of Greece and the host of the 2004 Olympics, a
city with more than 3000 years of history, offers numerous
attractions. Most people pass through Athens on their
way to other locations across Greece. The one or two
days they usually spend there may understandably be hectic
as the various local attractions compete for time in their
already busy schedules.

Nevertheless,
diving can often be the perfect excuse to get away:
After all, holidays are supposed to be stress-free!
And, in fact, this is what diving does for you: It relaxes
you! When you are underwater, you are in a different
world. There, everything is slower, quieter and calmer.
The colours are different, more vivid and, at the same time,
appeasing. Visitors to Athens have repeatedly commended
the clarity of the waters there. Some have left Athens
saying that they did their best dives there, which for us
are only average if you consider the unlimited possibilities
that the natural beauty of Greece offers.

The
Diving School itself is located 10 mins away from downtown
Athens in the Ilissia area, near the well-known Hilton and
Caravel hotels. The nearest Metro (underground railway)
stop is "Evaggelismos". Below is a small map (which
you can download and/or print) of the area showing the Metro
station and the Diving School.

Santorini
(also known as Thira) is characterised by many as "the jewel
of the Aegean Sea" . Looking at the picture above, you will
see why. The volcanic eruption of Thira Volcano that
destroyed the Minoan civilization in antiquity, caused a large
part of the island to submerge. The island is now left
with a wild, rare natural beauty. Its high cliffs and
dark colours are unique.

Diving
in Santorini is an unforgettable experience. As you
can see in the "diving
sites" section, there is a multitude of underwater
caves, walls and reefs, and rich marine life. In and
out of the water, Santorini offers the perfect mix.
Be prepared for unique holidays, that you will treasure forever.

Volcano
Diving Center is located in "Kamari" next to "Dolphins" hotel
(please see the map above). Once there, walk to the
beach and look for the dive flags or the signs to the dive
center. Our red 7m inflatable dive boats when not out
diving are in front of the dive center.
